1st day:
7:30 - Geathering at the International Landing Stage
8:00 - Departure to Vienna by hydrofoil
14:20 - Arrival in Vienna, a travel assistant awaits the guest and guides them to the Hotel Lassalle (approx. 15 minutes walk)
16:00 - Meeting point at the hotel lobby, Two hour sightseeing tour on foot with English speaking guide, passing by the Oprea House, Hotel Sacher, Albertina Platz, Josefs Platz, Schweizerhof, Platz in der Burg, Michaeler Kuppel, Michaeler Platz, Kohlmarkt, Graben and the Stephans Dom
Evening: free time
 
2nd day:

15:00 - Departure from Vienna to Budapest by hydrofoil
20:30 - Arrival in Budapest, to the International Landing Stage

Post symposium tour

WINE TASTING TOUR TO TOKAJ (2 days)
Departure: Thursday, July 1 2010  Arrival: Friday, July 2 2010

Tokaj Hegyalja is probably the most famous wine region in Hungary, a part of the World Heritage by UNESCO and also well-known for beeing the home of the "aszú" wine, "The wine of Kings, the King of wines"- as Louis XV, the French king said after tasting it.
Departure in the morning from Budapest, after a 2,5 hours journey arrive in Tarcal - check in and lunch in a 4-star, beautiful castle hotel. The hotel has a splendid wellness area with swimming pool, wirlpool and sauna world. After lunch we visit the Rákoczi Castle in Sárospatak, the famous school town of Hungary. The tour continues to Tolcsva, a picturesque town, famous of its wine cellar system and beautiful location. After visiting the Oremus Winery in Tolcsva, you can enjoy dinner with wine tasting and live music at a beautiful local restaurant. After dinner transfer back to the hotel.
The next morning the tour goes on to Tokaj. After a short sightseeing in the city situated in the flow of two rivers, the Bodrog and Tisza, we visit the Rákóczi Cellar, which was built in the 15th century and played and important role in Hungarian history: in 1526 János Szapolyai was elected to king in the cellar’s spacious main hall. The wine tasting includes the introduction and tasting of 6 Tokaj wines. After lunch we return to Budapest, arrival in the late afternoon.
